How To Have a Relaxing Vacation in Las Vegas
I finally took a vacation! Well, actually it was a mini-vacation (4 days) in Las Vegas. I've come back refreshed and ready to go on another blogging marathon ;)Most people would think that it would be impossible to have a relaxing vacation in Las Vegas, but I'm here to tell you that it's possible. The energy of Vegas dictates that you should always be on the go or you should be partying your ass off, but if you've been to Vegas as many times as I have, you get to the point where you're just over it.
So, the first thing you should do in order to have a relaxing vacation in Las Vegas is to stay in a hotel off of the strip. My friend and I stayed at the Cancun Resort which is actually located on Las Vegas Blvd., but it's far enough away from the actual strip that you don't get caught up in the hustle and bustle. What I love about the Cancun Resort are the hammocks located right by the pool. I can't even remember the last time I hung out in a hammock...

The second thing you need to relax in Vegas is a room that has a jacuzzi tub. Every night after walking along the strip, I filled up the tub and just soaked while reading a book. If you can't get a room with a jacuzzi tub, at least get a room with a patio. We had both amenities, so I definitely took advantage of that.
The third thing you should have to relax in Vegas is plenty of wine. Fortunately, there was a grocery store right across from where we stayed, so I was able to just walk over and grab a bottle...or two...My friend and I had a buffet lunch at the Paris hotel where we also shared a bottle of wine while enjoying scrumptious food. It was definitely a relaxing two hour lunch ;)
So there you have it. Three things to help you have a relaxing vacation in Las Vegas. I would mention other things, but as they say, "What happens in Vegas...."
